Operational krav-maga

The original historical Krav-Maga philosophy was based on the adjustment of the different technique levels, to the physical and psychological character of the trainees.

In practice, the Operational Krav-Maga is adapted to the different K.M. and survival techniques, as dictated by the specific operational needs

The Operational Krav-Maga activity is based on the following  principles

1.    Simplicity, on the technical level.

2.    Decisive and swift reaction.

3.    Developing  controlled aggression levels to be used as the situation demands.

4.    Training under stress and real surprise situations. "As close as possible to reality

The training level will be defined by the following:

1.   The specific operational function of the trainees.

2.   The primary level of the specific human factor.

3.   The time which the specific unit has available to  learn its training components.

In recent years, the Operational Krav-Maga, which was adapted by Gabi Shai for the Israeli Special Security Units, was opened to the public by OKM expert Aaron Laurent Elbaz using adaptation of the specific skills and techniques to the self-defense personal level.
